Well yes it can be done.
This is my last shot to continue to "support" Kirby, in spite of the criticism I have thrown his way.
If he doesn't run the ball in this contest, and this contest ends up like the others, I'm pretty much done with him.
Run the effing football Kirby. Establish it and stay with it and help your freshman qb win this game.
Here's to the Missouri D!

34 - 20 Texas A&M
Re: Missouri - A&M Prediction Thread
Early Texas A&M vs Missouri spread pick: Missouri +7.5 (a bet place on Mizzou will win if the score at least 7 points within the aTm score or outscore them).
-118 at FanDuel ($118 laid down on aTm will yield $100 for the better if aTm wins)
Mizzou is starting a true freshmen who has zero starts. Texas A&M has a very good pass defense. Mizzou will have to run wild (Hardy and Roberts) for Mizzou to have a chance which means that Zollers will have to pass effectively enough to prevent the aTm defense to concentrate on totally stopping the run.
Prediction: Mizzou will be successful enough rushing the ball to skew the time of possession in Mizzou's favor coupled with the home team advantage to keep Mizzou close but the key is to not get behind early or a least not abandon the run game if they do.
Mizzou 25; aTm: 24

This one is probably more of a pick from hope and my heart than normal. My head says it’ll be a 34-20 loss.
However my heart says Zollers is the real deal and the D has a good day.
Mizzou 29
A@M 23

I'm not gonna speculate about the final score, but the Aggies should roll.
It could get ugly. Might wanna skip the second half and go play with your kids.
Silver lining: Playing with the kids is probably a better use of your time anyway.

Re: Missouri - A&M Prediction Thread
Okay, time for another ignorant analysis.
Mizzou's defense usually seems to come on strong early, have a lull in the middle, and then start locking it down in the second half. I see this same pattern happening again.
Offense will work to establish the running game early, even at the cost of a few quick outs. Zollers will do a few quick short dumps and crossing patterns to get his feet wet. Either second or third series, he's going to air one out deep. Otherwise A&M will just stack the box with everyone. Hard to get any sort of running game going if every man on defense is stacked on the line. Running game is now opened up and A&M doesn't know what to do. Running game takes over along woth dome deep passing TDs.
To me, the only question is Moore. Is he going to keep calling the game scared or is he going to let his players play? The goal line series against Vandy was telling. Mizzou should have went Larry Bird on Vandy's D line and told them, we're handing off to Hardy everytime and he's taking it right up the middle, and you're not going to be able to do one GD thing to stop him. I think Moore feels he's playing for his job and let's it all hang out.
This is Mizzous last chance to prove that they can beat a playoff team. Regardless of where everybody's record ends up at the end of the season, there's no way that any sane person would even give a thought to Mizzou for the playoffs if they can't pull this win, and rightfully so.
Mizzou treats this game as if it's the last championship game to be played ever and we fnally get to see Mizzou lay it all on the line, from the players to the coaches to the fans.
Mizzou goes buck wild.

If I see designed runs for Zollers, I may just leave.
