Will Bloom entertain offers for all others? Why not, if it's a deal than can help the team?

JJW and Doyle are the untouchables. Winn should not be considered untouchable

A gold glove SS is hard to find. I expect his offense to continue to improve.

Is there another SS in the Cardinals pipeline?

JJW can play SS. I don't necessarily think Winn should be traded, but he shouldn't be untouchable either. It certainly would depend on what was coming back.

FG, true, Wetherholt, as a potential SS, may also make Winn available. But Bloom would need to overwhelmed by an offer. Maybe something like the Nationals got for Sosa. I overlooked Doyle as untouchable.

I would say that out of the projected players to make the roster Winn and JJW are the only untouchables. I don’t know why we would trade any other prospects such as Doyle when we should be in a rebuild.

Winn is not untouchable...because there's a non-zero chance that whoever is Sacramento's GM would give us Kurtz for Winn.

It would take a trade like that.

Are you saying you think there's even a 1 percent chance the As would trade Kurtz for Masyn?

Jacob Wilson makes that trade less than 0.1%

plus, Kurtz is going to the Dodgers, Mets, Yanks, Red Sox in his 2nd year of Arb...slight chance in his 1st year of arb....unless Vegas becomes the hot spot for baseball...it could happen I guess?

With Wetherholt a suitable replacement at SS, That Winn for Kurtz kind of trade kind of makes sense. Do the A's need a SS?

How do you know that Wetherholt is a “suitable replacement at SS”?

You mean the AL starting SS in the All Star game and a finalist for AL Rookie of the Year?

You certainly answered the question. So which other young star might be available for Winn? Do the Pirates, possibly, need a young, Gold Glove SS?

No one is untouchable.

But I also think that Winn and Wetherholt are two good, young middle infielders to build around.
