Yes...Missouri can beat A&M

Post by dhsux »

5 keys to a victory on Saturday:

Zoller plays great
Zoller plays great
Zoller plays great
Zoller plays great
Missouri bats 1.000 on conservative range field goals

Seriously folks let's all find out now what this team has to truly offer this season.

This is, for the time being, the season. Why wait play the best and find out now.

I like the underdog status and I feel better about this game at kick off than I did last year in College Station.

And all jokes aside....Zoller is in for the game of his life.......maybe literally! AM D line will be licking their chops!

Our best win is against 5-4 Kansas in the mighty Big 12. I'm not holding my breathe but that's why they play the games. Maybe the OL will actually gel and provide enough pass protection to allow downfield plays to open up. If not A&M will just sit on the short stuff and stack the box to overwhelm a soft OL.

I hope Mizzou knocks the hell out of that crazyass cult that is Texas Jr.

But unfortunately, the prediction above may be a distinct possibility.

Not a road win over Auburn, even this year's chronically wrong-footed version?
that crazyass cult that is Texas Jr.
I'd call that a fair description but the Mike Elko version is growing on me.

Drink has called Zollers the Best Arm he has ever seen or had as a QB. Now will find out if he is that guy. As we all know Drink really runs the offense. Even though Moore calls the plays. Marquis needs to be targeted early and often. And I dont mean 5 yard hooks. Come on Drink stretch the field get the safeties to play back. And have Zollers throw the ball in a moonshot Johnson can run under

Folks here thinking miracles are going to suddenly appear in the passing game with a true freshman who's had a few dozen snaps against top competition.

Zollers is the best QB here since Lock. Has all the tools
except experience.

Expect the good and not so good especially Saturday against a conference leading pass rush and perhaps the rest of the season.

Like most everyone else I would like to see Zollers unharnassed but changing the whole foundation of the offense isn't going to happen in the bye week.

If by some miracle that suddenly occurs then we'll know something that some of us knew all along.

A&M's D is hard to judge right now. The only good offenses they faced were at ND and Arky, and they allowed 40 and 42 points in those 2 games. Holding Auburn, Florida, MSU and LSU down doesn't take all that much.

Very soft schedule outside of the road game at ND. No Bama, no UGA, no Ole Miss, no Tenner, no OU. And that D, when tested by a decent offense, has been bad. 40 for ND, 42 for Arky. And don't even mention LSU, which has proven what they are.
