Great World Series.
I wanted the Blue Jays, but what a great series and a great example of elite baseball.
Respect to the Dodgers.
Also, I’m gonna miss seeing Kershaw. What a career.

Truly great World Series. I’m grateful for anything that brings me back to baseball
Re: Great World Series.
Yes, now Roberts can crow again that ‘ the Dodgers are ruining baseball’ as he proclaimed on the field after NLCS

Re: Great World Series.
What Yamamoto did was incredible.
Dodgers had to make a couple of great defensive plays in the 9th but going out there for two more innings is crazy.
I picked the Dodgers to win but I never figured it would be like this.
Heartbreaking for Toronto.

Re: Great World Series.
I sure found myself glued to these games
Re: Great World Series.
best WS in years!
Re: Great World Series.
...Great series, with lots of outstanding (and strange) plays... Last 2 games ended with Jays GIDP. And the last one produced a WS win for the Dodgers. The defense of the Dodgers was as much, or more so in contributing to those wins, as the Jays outhit them both those games.
I usually root for the NL in the WS, but was rooting for the Jays this time. Gotta feel bad for them. Just couldn't get the key hit to close the series out...

As good as Ohtani was in this , Yamamoto is the MVP.
Re: Great World Series.
Sloppy play looked like neither team wanted it! Overrated.

Money can buy talent but it can’t buy heart and desire to dig deep and do everything you possibly can to win. I wish we’d “overpay” for a guy like that too.11WSChamps wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 23:33 pm What Yamamoto did was incredible.
