with Texier. Ugh tonight could be ugly
Re: Neighbours and Thomas are day-to-day, Torop in
Well, on the good side it's not the playoffs. So hopefully day-to-day actually means day-to-day.

Not good.
Well, pack mentality and next man up.
The current roster will either check and find success as a bounce back or they'll continue to spiral.

Pavel Buchnevich - Pius Suter - Jimmy Snuggerud
Mathieu Joseph - Brayden Schenn - Jordan Kyrou
Dylan Holloway - Oskar Sundqvist - Alexandre Texier
Alexey Toropchenko - Nick Bjugstad - Nathan Walker
Cam Fowler - Colton Parayko
Philip Broberg - Justin Faulk
Tyler Tucker - Logan Mailloux
Monty says they are going to "work their (bleep) off" I'll take that effort night in and night and accept the losses.
Im really watching to see what LM does, i really wish Monty would ride with the kid. 22 years old and very limited experience the only way to learn is to play unless his confidence sucks

I would be interested with this depleted lineup to try Sunny with Toro and Walker and see if you could recaputre some of that magic from last year those wingers had with Faska. Same thing with reuniting Holly and JK with Schenn. Leaving Bjugstad with with Joseph and Texier as the 4th line in ice time.
Re: Neighbours and Thomas are day-to-day, Torop in
I'm not seeing a lot of evidence of that surplus we supposedly traded from to get a RD. If Tex and Torp coming in are evidence of our forward depth, then it's pretty much non-existent.

Really, the Blues are led by Neighbours and Snuggerud. Holloway hasnt shown up exactly yet but this is the surplus the Blues decided they had

Well Texier is better fitted on a 3rd line. Problem with that is Hollywood looks like he got demoted because Joseph has been playing his but off. More skill on the 3rd line than our 2nd line. I guess the good thing is Sunny has been finding tape in his first 2 games so maybe they think he can spring those 2 loose or something I dunno.
I think if the team was playing better, and Thomas and Neighbours were both hurt, you would have gotten a Dvorsky or someone call up rather than what just happened. I doubt they want to bring someone into this up and down hockey style. They have to get the guys who are here to play the right brand first.

When will we ever learn? Start every season unprepared, blame effort and intensity, get hurt.
Starting to be an annual trend.

I don't know, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense to start experimenting with other guys at center (since Thomas is hurt anyway).
Can't we see a guy like Holloway at center? He just seems like a natural fit for the position.
Bjugstad seems better suited for wing. Sunny I'm with leaving a center for now. Schenn is better suited to wing at this point in his career.
I don't know.
