Great. A women’s volleyball game is running late so the basketball game has been moved until the volleyball game is over. Looks like we may miss the first half.

Well, volleyball matches in October count. Exhibition basketball games don't.

a game that is just a practice game and you allow that Mizzou hating Pat Adams to ref, I would not allow that poor excuse of a ref in the gym...........

Looked bad, hope not. Crews in midseason form, feels like leather, shoot it. :D

Just one game but Phillips looks very good, will be nice to have a capable 5 on the floor.

Boateng was a revelation. looks like he lost weight and got extremely fit and strong. he slashed to the basket a couple of times. also seems to be able to handle the ball. looks like he put in a lot of work in the offseason. I think he will be a factor in the team's success.

these four guards looked really good: Robinson, Barrett, mack, stone. they all look like they can play defense, handle the ball, and score.

phillips is a major upgrade. good rebounder, good dunker.

the freshman Randall is raw but moves really well and is very active. could be a good player for mizzou next season and beyond.

here's hoping Mitchell's left wrist (his shooting hand) isn't a bad injury. he landed on it very hard, bent it underneath him, was icing it on the bench the 2nd half.
hope it's not a bad sprain. I imagine they x-rayed it, so hopefully no break.

Agree with all this. Robinson is the straw that stirs the drink. He’s our best and most important player. So he goes, the team goes. We can’t afford to lose Mitchell, although we looked fine in the 2nd half.

3 point shooting to me is still a question mark. Defense is still a question mark. But otherwise? Wow. A lot of weapons and depth and we didn’t even see Pierce at all.

Impressive exhibition performance against a real team.

I knew T.O. was good after watching last year, but the 'wow' factor really jumped out at me when he had that put back dunk on a missed shot! Dude can jump out of the gym.

Gates has certainly elevated the talent level and at first glance giving everyone minutes is going to be a challenge but that's supposed to be a good thing.

Nobody seems bashful about getting their own shot and there appears to be ample options as the shot clock winds down.

Phillips is definitely an upgrade in the post and Boateng raised more than a few eyebrows. Liked what I saw of Stone and Mack is another scoring threat.

It's race horse basketball at the Mizzou Arena.

Looking forward to the season.

getting PT will be a chore for this team when they get to conference action so all these early games will be intense as players need to show they are worth court time. Stone and Boating looked like solid contributors. Phillips is great improvement at 5. Man do they like to run and their bigs are right in there when they do. Ant showed out greatly in finishing and shooting.

If you want to play you better play hard D was the message after the game at Presser. Interesting he brought stone and boating with him.

they played well together considering this is first actual game but they have been practicing together since June.

Was Pierce held out as precaution for injury or discipline? anyone know?

They scored 100 while looking rough still and not communicating like they will by December.
