A little doom and gloom for your Friday AM...
They need to right the ship asap. With the schedule as abbreviated as it is and so many games coming up quickly, they will be out of it by mid November at this rate. Mailloux is an anchor and needs to go down before he drags everyone else down with him.

Re: Schedule
Perhaps. As a defenseman his mistakes are visible and too often costly. He needs to simplify his game, focusing on d-zone play and outlets, within the Blues system. His attempts to play physical (forced) and push offense are getting him in trouble.
Last night he had the one wild inexplicable excursion up ice and got hung out to dry by his forwards once. Other than that he seemed ok. Hard to break in on a team that expects to win and isn't scoring like it should.

Re: Schedule
Probably want to change the title of this thread. I opened up the convo expecting to find a deep dive into the schedule or some other analysis of that nature, only to see that it is yet another LM sucks thread.
Yawn.
I for one am interested in seeing how the kid might be after he’s played more than a dozen games in the NHL. That’s just me though, I’m funny that way, thinking young players need some time to mature.

Re: Schedule
True, but every team is going to be dealing with the exact same schedule so fatigue is going to set into teams at different points during the season.
The younger teams are going to have all the jump early in the season and fatigue about 30 games in.
The mid veteran teams should be gaining traction about 20 games in.

Re: Schedule
Send Mailloux down and call up Skinner. I bet he plays decent and won't need "200 games" to get acclimated.
