Drink is not the sexy choice that FL fans are demanding. they want a NAME HC not a football nerd. Plus pressure to win there would be intense and they are NOT a patient donor or fanbase.

I think Eli loves being at Como and making great coin has remade stadium and practice facilities and Tiger fans are reasonable for most part. He truly has it made here. could see giving him more money and NIL budget to be even more competitive but think overall he is happy and his family is.

All fun aside, I didn't say they hate Mizzou but they have a preference for a few programs, with FL being one, and that's good for some wins. That's a huge advantage for a HC.

FL is all in on Lane Train and will pay kings Ransome for him. More importantly his ex wife/ GF now was homecoming queen at FL and LOVES Gainesville and he is wanting to remarry her. If you are Lane it would be very attractive place as FL is full of top talent and many want to come here. Plus being the king of TP he could get into playoffs or whenever season over and still make a big splash on talent as part of negotiating from Jimmy Sexton would by huge NIL budget to buy the best talent. but HUGE expectations come with this job and pressure but better chances of winning NC there. At ole miss he doesn't have that and after sexton gets same money there with bigger NIL budget wouldn't have the pressure and has been able to attract top talent there.

Just read that people expect Lane to get a $15Mx10 yr deal making him the first $150M coach (surpassing Smarts $130M deal). Eli’s contract seems like a bargain and he is the 10th highest paid coach in football and 5th in SEC!
