Watched the LSU v Vandy game and thought:
1) Nussmeier not near as good as Daniels
2) Baker, in his 2nd year, defense not as good as MU's D - our guys play harder
3) Pavia was allowed to extend constantly and the Vandy receivers are always tracking back because of it - it's a feature , not a flaw of their offense
4) Vandy D looked decent. Not as strong as AU but pretty decent.

Bottom line we have to contain Pavia and keep him in the pocket and get to him quickly so he can’t pick us apart. Our secondary can’t cover well enough and big plays could kill us. If we do that I think we win and it’s that simple. I think our offense will look much better next week.

Best way to beat Pavia is keep him off the field. Need to get back to running and controlling the clock with patient long drives.

Defenses aren't letting the Tigers do that.

Both Alabama and Auburn loaded the box and took away the Tiger's run game. They also played their coverage tight to limit the short passes. Basically, they took away they two things the Tigers have done well, forcing Pribula to try to beat them over the top.

Pribula is not a good passer. He has trouble finding the open receivers, and he's not accurate on longer passes.

Expect more of the same going forward. Teams look at film. They'll copy the Bama/auburn playbook, and it'll be up to Pribula and the Tigers OC to find an answer.

Moore, BP, and MU started to get things figured by Q4 - Just look at the effort from the WR's making +10 yd catches in decent coverage. Also, Vandy D is good but not 'Bama or AU good. The AU D front four may be the best in the country.

I just don’t know why they have to wait until the last 10 mins each game and often times when they are down. Those throws are there early in the game, too, but Moore and Drink are reluctant to use their elite WR crew to its full potential for some reason.

While you are partially correct, one other factor was Auburn on the last 2 drives started playing soft with the CBs (7yds off WR) and only blitzed LBs once. When they went into prevent mode with a lead it gave us more time. We scored on one drive and Pribula threw into tight coverage for a pick on the other. To say Moore and Pribula “figured it out” may be a stretch as Auburn change how they were playing and Pribula still threw a INT on one of the drives.

Auburn in a big way but against the Tide you guys averaged almost 6 yards a pop. I thought Missouri panicked a bit and got away from the run too soon.

Vandy doesn't have Auburn's run D but they're well-coached and relentless.
