Well there are some players that want to win and are willing to defer money to get on a team that will. You can't blame him if he signs with the powerhouse Dodgers. Baseball is broken. Until they do something to even the field there will always be the haves and havenots. If baseball doesn't fix it , it just narrows the fanbase further and further until only fans of the best teams even show up. The Dodgers manager alluded to this with his statement. Something like, "Let's win 4 more games and really ruin baseball." I agree with this! If Tucker or any other top free agent signs with L.A., and they win the WP World Series again, that could be the final straw that causes the other owners to band together to put a stop to the way things are going. The backlash from other teams’ fan bases will really start to manifest, big time! Baseball as a whole won’t survive this!
I can’t imagine even other players being content knowing unless they are playing for the Dodgers, they’re odds of ever winning a WS is extremely low!

So again LA ownership has MULTIPLE MULTI Billionares who made and make their money elsewhere and don’t care about an annual check from Dodgers LLC.
