Could someone tell the Blues goalies the season started
This isn't preseason anymore. Gotta put in some effort.

Lmao what a mess
Re: Could someone tell the Blues goalies the season started
I just don't like any of it from the start of preseason, I don't feel like we had guys fighting hard enough for spots. I just don't like the culture/attitude going in at all.
Looked like we came in like we had just won the cup or something.

Re: Could someone tell the Blues goalies the season started
They needed a franchise record winning streak just to make the playoffs and then they thought they’d arrived because they still found a way to lose a series where the opposing goalie put up a .815 sv pct…
Re: Could someone tell the Blues goalies the season started
Right, and we act like Binny is gods gift to goal tending while his save % is like .850 and barley broke 90% last year.
Just weird for me so far..... Off season, preseason, and now the start of the regular season. Way to much comfort

Some days the goalie doesn’t have it. I think Monty should have pulled him after the 2nd goal. These weren’t soft goals, these were goals that end up on every sports show blooper reel. And two of them! Next time he needs to be ready to go. He wasn’t tonight. He should have been parked 6 mins into that game.

The defense sucked pretty bad too.

agree, I thought he should have come out after the 2nd goal2forDiving wrote: ↑15 Oct 2025 23:56 pm Some days the goalie doesn’t have it. I think Monty should have pulled him after the 2nd goal. Was Hofer drunk on the ice?

Hofer has been excellent since coming into the league but last night was definitely frustrating. Reminded me of the Jake Allen days where your goalie just completely deflates the team. You could see it on the ice. Blues bounced back after the first 2 ridiculous goals but how many times in a game can you expect the players to rally after terrible mistakes by their goaltender? Frankly, if I’m Monty I’m sitting both goaltenders down privately and reading them the riot act. I’m not a big blame the goalie guy but it’s highly likely the Blues are at least if 2–1-1 if Binner had shown up against Minnesota or if Hofer had shown up against Chicago.aslord wrote: ↑16 Oct 2025 05:17 amagree, I thought he should have come out after the 2nd goal2forDiving wrote: ↑15 Oct 2025 23:56 pm Some days the goalie doesn’t have it.
