I mean everyone takes Connor over Kyrou right now. Kyrou has a lot to prove still and they are basically the same age.

No doubt—Thomas, Kyrou, and Buchnevich are locked in at bargain rates for the next five seasons. If they simply maintain their current trajectory, these deals will age with the best of them. And if they trend upward for even half that span? Armstrong’s going to look like a clairvoyant.
Parayko’s deal, though... that one’s borderline criminal (in the best way). You almost wonder if Armstrong ever loses sleep over it. Then again, knowing Doug, he’d probably negotiate his own mother down to league minimum if she had a decent Corsi.
As for the Connor vs. Kyrou debate—sure, Connor might have a slight edge right now, but it’s not a $4 million edge. That’s a stretch. And now that Kyrou’s paired with Holloway, there’s a real chance he outpaces Connor this season and beyond.
