Goldschmidt
First off, he should be playing every inning at 1st base for NYY, but Boone is in love with Rice and his HR “ potential” LOL.
However, if you were watching when Judge hit his tying HR just now, I have never seen a more animated Goldie! I mean he was jumping up and down and banging his hands on the dugout railing, just like a little leaguer would! I can’t root for the Yankees, but I can root for Goldie and always will!

Re: Goldschmidt
He’s a utility player at best. Should have dumped him before contract expired. Dumb Mo move. Again.

Yep
.336 .411 .570 .981 vs LHP
.247 .289 .329 .619 vs RHP

Looks pretty good compared to our lineup.
Re: Goldschmidt
100 career Postseason ABs and Goldy is now up to .915 career OPS in the playoffs. Thats not a choker. Looks like a HOF resume to me.

Re: Goldschmidt
And Rice is better against RHP, though the difference isn't quite so large.
.269 .356 .504 .860 vs RHP
.208 .271 .481 .752 vs LHP
Seems like a pretty logical platoon situation. .

Would love to see Goldschmidt get a WS ring, but man the Yankees?
Re: Goldschmidt
Boone PH for Goldschmidt in the 8th with 2 on and down 5-1. Rice walked.

Yes. People posting without trying to first understand why he's not starting, would have easily known this...ecleme22 wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 21:16 pmIs that necessary?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025 22:27 pmGoldy only hits lefties now, dumb[ash]Hoosier59 wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025 21:07 pm First off, he should be playing every inning at 1st base for NYY, but Boone is in love with Rice and his HR “ potential” LOL.
