Missouri-Alabama Prediction Thread

Post by dhsux »

Well I'm going Missouri, no surprise there.

It's never a simple formula or a one dimensional factor that wins games but I see a passing 'Bama that could make hay on the Missouri secondary and I see a running Missouri that can do the same to 'Bama.

Red zone and 3rd downs I'd take the running team every time.

So I believe a lot of points may get on the board here......and yes the Prib and the Tigers have to be controlled and 100% ready to play their best.

34-27 Missouri.

And if too insecure or not interested in posting a prediction no need for the cheap comments from the peanut gallery.

Since I'm not betting any money and I have been wrong before and lived to tell about it I'm going all-in on a Mizzou blowout.

While anything is possible, I just worry too much about our secondary. 42-13 Tide (repeat score of 2014 SEC Championship)

The OP asked if you were too insecure, then don't make a prediction.

lol…he was talking to YOU!

I made a prediction (42-13), but I am still waiting for yours. It will never come because YOU are the insecure clown he was talking about. Classic!

Anyone who remembers the exact score from a loss a dozen years ago and uses it as a barometer is insecure.

Anyone who focuses on a slight inefficiency and totally ignores the attributes is insecure.

Anyone who cares if someone doesn't make a prediction is insecure.

DH apologies your thread is being polluted by a troll doing specifically what you asked not to happen (ie badger other posters and not provide a score prediction in a thread specifically for score predictions). That should be grounds for banning.

Anywho, Vegas thinks the Tide will win something like 28-25. I think the points might be a bit low and I’m going to be a homer and pick our Tigers 31-28 in a thriller.

Very concerned about Jam Miller. Now that he’s back and healthy, their offense is a little scary. We’ve been awesome against the run, but he’s a slightly bigger Hardy type and if our secondary struggles early it’ll open up the opportunities for them to run and he’ll make it hurt.

We’re capable of hurting them big time running the ball and hopefully we’ll control the clock. If our secondary can hold its own and we move the ball it’s game over. If our secondary gets lit up the 1st quarter and Bama can stop our running attack it’ll be game over for us.

I respect rezero's prediction as much as yours or mine. I'm dam curious what fans think about outcomes of our upcoming games.

Pretty sure 98% of this board knows what an insecure creep denied throughout his child hood looks like.

Thanks for the shout out Armchair.

I respect rezero's prediction
His prediction was admittedly based solely on the fact that while Mizzou is #2 in total defense, the Tigers are only 10th in passing yards allowed.

Meanwhile, he ignored the fact that Mizzou is #3 in rushing offense and Alabama is #87 in rushing defense.

We will run, run, dink, dink, as usual, and play the ball control game. Nothing wrong with trying to keep the ball in our control and eating the clock, but it's important we start fast. If we can do that I say we win 38-35.

Winonsports has 3 posts in this thread yet lacks the fortitude to give a prediction. The snowflake gets worked up every prediction thread, but won't give one.

Ouch. Only one TD and a couple of FGs for the good guys? That's pretty harsh. Im hoping (and I bet you are as well) that you eat some serious crow on that one.

I would go 34-17 Miz, but I see the Tide scoring a junker at the end. So let's go with 34-24.

As long as our boys remember how to eat an elephant everything will work out fine in our favor.

35-31 Tigers in overtime??

I don't care about the score. Give me victory or give me cake.
