Reds out ..Who are the 3 wildcard losers Thursday ?

Post by ramfandan »

Only the Reds have bowed out as LAD advance .
So who will be the other 3 losers who drop out tomorrow ?

Padres vs Cubs
Tigers vs Guardians
Red Sox vs Yankees

Still both 5 seeds and a 6 seed won a playoff game at minimum. That would be an improvement for us over the past 5 years.

I'll take Guardians over Flaherty and the Tigers
Padres and Darvish over the Cubs
Yankees over Red Sox

Cleveland-Detroit features one pitcher who has an ERA of 4.64 with 188 K’s, versus another with an ERA of 4.30. Darvish has an ERA over 5, and he is starting for SD today.
This looks a lot like our pitiful “rotation.”

Cleveland can’t hit. Jack may have a big game. Cubs and Padres is a toss up. Yanks cause they are better.

Was really hoping the Reds would knock out the Los Angeles Dollars, but it was a long shot.

Dollars it may be, but offensive wise, they are simply better.

Gonna take some work and strategy to close the gap.

They sign half of the elite talent pool every offseason. It only takes money for a few organizations.

Yes they do. Their staff alone is a who’s who list. Those with the money will remain wealthy. The trick is to stay a tier below the elite, grab the spoils.

I hope the Dodgers win it all. I don't like the Dodgers but I do not want a low payroll team to win going into this labor stoppage. This payroll disparity has to be fixed and that will be harder if low payroll teams win.

Tigers, Red Sox, and Padres will be the home teams today - so I will pick the Guardians, Yankees, and small bears to lose.

Padres Guardians Yankees are out. Not what I want but that's what I predict.
