Gaudy numbers so far.
What’s amazing is how young we are. 2 leading rushers are sophomores. And our freshman looked pretty awesome today too. We know what Pribula can do.
I love our passing game and what Pribula has shown he’s capable of, but wow we’ve got some talent in the backfield.
I probably need to pump the brakes, but I just couldn’t be more impressed with the talent we’ve assembled on the offensive side of the ball. We knew the D would be good.

Re: Running game
Most if not all of us figured MU would be 3-0 a this point.
What we didn't know was how that would come about and the offense is better than anyone expected to this point.
Although SC seems a bit wounded right now that should still be a stern test in the SEC opener. Then you have a blood donor in UMass and then comes the 'Tide and they appear to be righting the ship after that debacle with Florida State.
That game will likely give us a pretty good barometer on what the team's playoff hopes realistically are.

Re: Running game
Yeah, we shall see when the schedule toughens, but this running game is really good. And that is without Pribula looking all that great running. Defying perceptions about him because he's been a far better passer than runner so far.Armchair QB wrote: ↑13 Sep 2025 20:40 pm Gaudy numbers so far.

Marquise Davis is going to be a star. he looks as good as the other 2. he's fast, strong and even shiftier than hardy and Roberts.
2 sophomores and a freshman: I hope we can keep all 3 of them into next year, and nobody transfers. gotta be one of the best
running back trios in the SEC. now we'll find out if the offensive line can match up with the defenses of the SEC to spring our runners.

Re: Running game
It is a three headed monster for SEC teams to deal with. Davis came in with SEC ready body and he is impressive as he can mash but has good shiftiness to avoid tacklers. He and the Big WR freshman from FL both are competitive contributors already and why I used to love the RS it is no longer as relevant in todays game with the TP. Both are high in their rotations and contributing.
with the awesome running attack and a really accurate passer and Receiver room with the OL coming together this is going to be a fun season.
BTW drink came into game really putting pressure on his Oline and secondary and they both came thru with flying colors. WTG Batoon for doing what works.
