Tickets sold. How low can they go?

This is still tickets sold, correct? I didn't wtach tonight but I'm estimating turnstiles at around 10k or lower in the games I have seen.

This is going to take years to come out of. Look back. In 67 and 68 the birds drew over 2 mil fans and then the problems started. It wasn't until Whitey took over and put a team that won a world series that they went back over 2 mil fans again. Look at what went on after old gussie died. Look at the attendance for those years until DeWitt bought and brought in Walt and Tony and they got back to contending did the fans start to come back.

There is a big difference in a team that wins their division and one that hopes they can grab that last wild card spot. Also this team isn't very exciting. A few bobbleheads and Gorman hitting 30 homeruns isn't going to bring these fans back. It's going to take a team who wins 90 or more games. And brings winning and excitement back to the stadium. And even with that unless they win a world series it's going to take a long time before they ever see 3 mil fans again.

Unfortunately it isn’t always that easy in the minds of millionaires/billionaires, who often like to find payback for those that have wronged them. No matter how irrational and further damaging it may be.

The apparent number of empty seats probably does not affect profits as much as it might appear to do. Owning a MLB team is a lucrative business, and the Cardinal organization has been very good to the owners.

Not just empty seats. It's empty parking spaces and empty beer cups and empty hot dog trays, Etc. Ballpark Village is no doubt taking a hit as well.
