MO’s wish list before retiring!!!!

Post by Cardinals1964 »

Here are a few things I heard Mo would like to do before he retires.
Trade Wetherholt for some middle relievers. Preferably with ERA’s under 5.00.
Get more catchers playing out of position.
Put Wynn at catcher, put Pages at short.
Extend Mikolas. 3 years. 30 million. Cheap.
Get an inning eater. I’ll do it for cheap. I’ll pitch every inning of every game, regardless of the outcome.
Trade Hampson for Judge.
Trade Burrelson for that one guy that’s getting cut from Pittsburgh.
Raise the price of tickets to get worse players.
That’s what I heard.

The OP isn't far off course. Mo would try to:

1. Find a way to play more people out of position.
2. Find a couple Joe Blow pitchers coming off arm injuries in the Siberian League.
3. Transition Winn to the rotation.
4. Decline a Raleigh for Pages trade offer.
5. Pass on signing Famber Valdez for league minimum.
6. Extend oli to a lifetime contract.

BTW- Mo would offer Hampson for Judge, but would only do the deal if NY included Max Fried. "YOU'LL HAVE TO PRY GARRETT OUT OF MY COLD, DEAD HANDS!"

Is it? That took seconds to write, and I'm now laughing and crying at the same time.
