A Busch III attendance record low by about 2500.

There’s a chance of rain. 0.000009%, but it’s a chance.
Re: 17,675
Say, fella, I’m from out of town, but I bet it’s not that hot in StL this day…

As Contreras was having his little tantrum I saw DeWitt in the stands. He must be very proud.
EDIT: After further review, Bill Jr., Bill III and Chaim Bloom were all sitting together. Do we get an official changing of the guard in the next few days? Hmmmm….

Re: 17,675
Cards could have the same record and same payroll and I bet they could have had far better attendance this year if they let Mo go two years ago and made moves showing they were at least trying to build a tam that could compete in the playoffs. Cards have failed to show fans they are trying to compete for the playoffs. Several half steps and afraid of making deals. Hopefully with Chaim that changes but we live in the Show Me State and until they show fans they are really interested in trying to build a winner and are not afraid of making deals then the fans will stay away.

No. BDW is smitten with Johnny bow ties. Otherwise, his (donkey) would've been fired years ago.desertrat23 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 21:21 pm As Contreras was having his little tantrum I saw DeWitt in the stands. He must be very proud.

Re: 17,675
lots won't go because of the DH.
Re: 17,675
And the car break-ins. Oh my.
You would think it was car jackings that were going on. Just add a replacement car window to the cost of a currently steeply discounted ticket. Likely still ahead of game with enough left for a dog and a beer. What a Real Fan would do, some say.

Re: 17,675
I'd love to know what the actual attendance was. When I worked down there over the last year, can't believe I never thought to take a picture and run it through AI to get a more accurate count of actual butts in seats. I'd be surprised if it exceeded 10k.desertrat23 wrote: ↑25 Aug 2025 20:46 pm A Busch III attendance record low by about 2500.
