Hill's father Ed pitched in the St. Louis Browns farm system and his mother was a star softball pitcher. He went to HS in Elsbery where he was all-Missouri in basketball and baseball.

Marc was one of the good guys. He loved to visit with the dealers at card shows. He asked me if I wanted an autograph, and he personalized it to my pal, Marc Hill. RIP good man.
