Hmm, good one...fun to pontificate:
20-25 Neighbours, Snuggerud, Suter, Schenn
25-30 Thomas, Buchy
30+ Kyrou, Holloway

Re: Who scores 20 for the Blues? 30? 40?
I'm going to go a lot more conservative than you guys.
30-35: Kyrou, Holloway
25-30: Thomas
20-25: Buchnevich, Neighbours, Snuggerud
15-20: Schenn, Suter, Colt, Fowler
I don't see our offense going haywire. I think we're still solidly middle of the pack(upper end of that pack, but still closer to the middle than the upper end).
Having said that, I could see this as one of those years where we end up with 11-12 guys with 10 or more goals(Bjugstad, Toro and Sunny have shown the capability) which would make our offense fairly difficult to defend against. But I don't think our offense really takes off until Dvorsky starts running and I don't see that happening this season. I this upcoming season is going to be more about defensive improvements and cleaning up special teams.

Realistically, Suter and Schenn struggle to hit 20, more likely 15-20 each. Thomas is likely low 20's, Holloway is 25-30 IF healthy, Kyrou 35. Snuggerud could net 12 to 25, who knows?TAFKAP wrote: ↑22 Aug 2025 14:55 pmI'm going to go crazy here and say this is the year.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑22 Aug 2025 13:28 pm Hmm, good one...fun to pontificate:

The defense figures to score 40-plus, and the depth guys will pop in a few. It's still a good offense if all these guys stay healthy.
I do not discount the possibility someone like Kyrou or Holloway could explode and light it it up. There is only one puck, though, and while either or both could be dynamic I see them as a step behind the league leaders. I do believe if they can keep Thomas upright he could have a huge season, say 20-80 or 25-75.
Things that need to happen for a 100+ point season:
1. Thomas stays healthy
2. Holloway returns to form.
3. Buchnevich rebounds as a complete forward.
4. Suter and Schenn have solid (if unspectacular) seasons.
5. Snuggerud is for real.
6. Binner and Hofer hold serve.
7. The veteran defensemen do it one more time.
8. The 4th line works without Faksa.
9. The team plays like a team out of camp.
10. They figure out how to kill penalties and close out games.
If all that pretty much happens the Blues will be a force to contend with.

If all your lower range numbers hit and the rest of the team performs as they did last year the Blues will end up with about 5 more goals scored than last season.
If all your high range numbers hit and team performs same as last year they clear 300.
The Blues ranked #21 last year in pp goals scored, something to think about for the coming year.
If the Blues can improve 10% above last years goal total it would put them them up towards the top of last years leaders, around 280.

Re: Who scores 20 for the Blues? 30? 40?
I'm hoping if the Center clicks with Kyrou and Holloway and those two can play practically the full season, which Holloway was on track to complete last, then the total combined between Kyrou & Holloway is 70.
The other totals in the thread above sound reasonable. Looking forward to looking back at this thread.

Have to see what kind of ice time Mailloux gets but I like your optimism.SameOldBlues wrote: ↑22 Aug 2025 20:37 pm Kyrou 44 outlier career year

I think he can get to 15 and 20 assists if he gets on the PP, which hopefully he will.
Re: Who scores 20 for the Blues? 30? 40?
Ok, I'm going to be real, but, try to explain my thinking. If Schenn struggles to hit 20, Holloway struggles to get 30, and Kyrou doesn't hit 40, I will consider it a moderate disappointment. The 3 of them together were absolutely dominant for 1/3 of a season. After Monty came in and had a moment to work his style in because of the 4 Nations, those three were unstoppable. If they could play that way for 2/3 of a season, there's no reason they shouldn't end up 20+, 30+, 40+. I'm not a stats guy, just a fan, but IMHO if they could play Oct-Nov as well as Mar-Apr, I can't see why they wouldn't have 4 goals each more.
