Cardinals Future Pitching

Post by Hoosier59 »

There’s been a lot of talk about what the Cardinals might have coming up in the next year or two pitching wise. I was curious on how some of the top ones ranked, so I crushed some numbers. I’ll be the first to say that my numbers are far from perfect or exact, just gives an idea how they look compared to each other.
I looked at each pitchers’ numbers per their innings pitched, and how they rated in our system. I did include Braden Davis even though this is his first season. He would currently rank #1 in overall performance, but it’s a very small sample size.
Davis’ numbers so far.
Hits/IP BB/IP K/IP HR/IP IP/Game ER’s/Game
.54 .67 1.39 .040 4.5 2.65
#2 was Quinn Mathews
.70 .48 1.36 .056 4.8 3.04
.76 .40 1.05 .050 4.7 2.34 Ixan
Tink Hence was#4, #5 Handel Rincon, #6 Chen-Wei Lin, #7 Pete Hansen, #8. Max Rajcic, #9 Drew Rom, and Brandt Thompson,
#11 Jason Savacool, and McGreevy, #13 Tekoah Roby, #14 Bryson Mautz, #15. Cade Winquest, #16 Sem Robberse
I obviously left out Doyle and other newly drafted players.
