Very true, especially his inaccurate arm. He is bound for 1B/DH. Since the Cardinals already have Contreras and Burleson at these positions, someone will need to be traded. Not very similar examples - the Cardinals did not give either of them enough playing time at St. Louis for them to prove their worth. Yeah he just had the assignment dropped in his lap 10 days ago... he certainly hasn't looked great but it would be silly to make that permanent decision now.
