I'm Impressed
I thought after the trade deadline with series' in San Diego, Los Angeles, and then at home against the Cubs that the it would be a blood bath for the Cardinals. These are all top teams in the NL and all improved at the deadline, while the Cardinals sold. Hasn't turned out that way. Way to go Cards. (No, we aren't making the playoffs, but credit where credit is due)

Stop it.
Re: I'm Impressed
To be fair they really didn’t “sell”. They dealt 3 relievers, one of which had an ERA near 5 over the last 2 months he was with us.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 21:35 pm I thought after the trade deadline with series' in San Diego, Los Angeles, and then at home against the Cubs that the it would be a blood bath for the Cardinals. We'll drop 2 of 3. Guaranteed. Only game we win is McGreevy's start.

I mean Dodgers and Cubs aren't as dangerous as you think. Both teams have major flaws

After impressive series against the Dodgers & Cubs, they need to show some fire against Colorado. Show up & play out! Make these last few weeks interesting.

The Mets are falling apart.
DFA Miles. Bring up Mathews and JJ. Mo might have a slight chance to finish with a playoff team.

gee, if the dodgers arent that dangerous then who is lol?...you mean the team of all stars with a 400 million dollar payroll?vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 22:02 pm I mean Dodgers and Cubs aren't as dangerous as you think. Both teams have major flaws

The team in our own division who spends $113 M and has the best record in baseball. Can't bring myself to say their name. It starts with a M .. and the M doesn't stand for MILLIONS !jbrach wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 22:33 pmgee, if the dodgers arent that dangerous then who is lol?...you mean the team of all stars with a 400 million dollar payroll?vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2025 22:02 pm I mean Dodgers and Cubs aren't as dangerous as you think. Don’t forget Cincinnati. They are getting Hunter Greene back and Burns is a stud pitcher along with Abbott. Wouldn’t surprise me if they are the team that passes Mets. They also have Francona as manager who knows how to win.
