You'd think Mutts fans would be used to being disappointed

And the Brewers figure out a way to win another game. This time some guy named Isaac Collins walks it off with a HR against one of the top closers in baseball. The freakin’ Brewers have to be using up all of their pixie dust with the run they have been on. It’s a different guy every day. Their starter gets crushed today but it just doesn’t seem to make a difference.

It'll make a difference come the post season ... can you say 'one and done' ?

The Brewers are built the same way as other small/mid market teams. Their long game is substantial but they lack the start power for short term success. In a 5 or 7 game series an Ohtani, a Harper, a Soto can carry you. A Wheeler, an Alcantara, a DeGrom can win you a series almost by themselves.

The Brewers for 162 may well be the best team in baseball with a 26 man roster that gets contributions from everyone but in a 5 or 7 game series, the star players usually put a handful of games together to make things difficult for most teams.
