Just looking at the talent levels on these 2 rosters is laughable. They have enough talent on the IL to beat the cardinals
In a 7 game series. When do we get some stars?

How many big stars does Milwaukee have on their roster? This season they have swept both series vs the World Champs 6-0!Youboughtit wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:00 pm Just looking at the talent levels on these 2 rosters is laughable. They have enough talent on the IL to beat the cardinals

Burly is the Cards 3 hitter. Where would he hit if he was a Dodger?
I’m guessing he’d play over Conforto in left field and bat 6th or 7th.

I won’t be shocked if the Dodgers lose the division, let alone the league. Great roster but lots of injuries, just not their year.12xu wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:03 pmHow many big stars does Milwaukee have on their roster? Let’s see how it goes when it matters. Brewers have 4-5 players better than any Cardinal. Fans pay to watch superstars or legit WS contenders12xu wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:03 pmHow many big stars does Milwaukee have on their roster? Yes, no matter how much money you spend, it cannot buy you good health. Still, I don't feel sorry for the bums.JohnnyMO wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:09 pmI won’t be shocked if the Dodgers lose the division, let alone the league. I was not comparing the Brewers' roster to the Cardinals. I am merely stating the fact that the Brewers have swept the Dodgers without a lot of star power. They are just a very good team.Youboughtit wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:26 pmLet’s see how it goes when it matters. Brewers have 4-5 players better than any Cardinal. Further the Cards I think are 3-1 against the vaunted Dodgers this season. Of course the Dodgers are the better team but that often doesn't translate how a particular series will turn out. (Something that escapes the boys on 101). In the very bad season of '23 the Cards were either 11-5 or 12-6 against the mighty AL East.12xu wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:03 pmHow many big stars does Milwaukee have on their roster? The only team at 60% o/w 58% would lead any division.12xu wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:29 pmI was not comparing the Brewers' roster to the Cardinals. That's just not true. There's not a single player in their starting lineup with an .800+ OPS. They have 4-5 starting pitchers better than any Cardinals starter and that's their real strength. When you know your starting staff and BP can keep you in any game, you don't get out of your offensive approach and start swining for the fences every at bat, similar to how the Cards played the first 3 months of the season.Youboughtit wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:26 pmLet’s see how it goes when it matters. I've admittingly have Walker fatigue. I do not even want to watch him slow walk
to the plate. He takes 10 decent AB's and the reverts back to his comfort zone.
I'd put Burleson in RF or DH, IH in LF or DH, Send Walker and Hampson down
bring up Church and JJ on Aug 14th.
First time ever feeling that way about a player that I should not feel
that way about.

They've F'd up Walker so bad it's like they won't admit their own mistake at this point. The guy should have been at AAA last year and this year and not come back until he was comfortable with his modified stance and proved he could dominate AAA pitching.renostl wrote: ↑05 Aug 2025 18:52 pm I've admittingly have Walker fatigue. I have 0 faith in him. I keep hoping he and Gorman will become the power hitters the org projected, but my guess is they'll fail until they're at least with another organization.

Mootbaar is dreadful in CF.
But I do agree with Scott sitting tonight.
Scott does not appear to take coaching very well, and that is a concern.
STL had better hope there are an awful lot of infield ground balls tonight - which is not likely with Mikolas pitching.
Still, surprising things can happen.
Consider last night.
