If Snuggerud is on the big boy line with PP time and only puts up 50 points…it’s a let down

Its hard to argue with your points all valid. If Fowler is even better than last year, wow. I also like Mailloux as an "improved" player by the end of the season. Im also thinking Broberg is dominant this year, 50 pts

Most improved: Buch & Schenn

Dean makes the team out of camp. Watch out for Kaskimaki. (and of course Dvo)

Mailloux has a breakout season.

I think expecting anything over 50 for Snuggerud is probably unfair. He looked great and is primed for good usage but he’s also a rookie who has been playing 40 game seasons with Minnesota. He’s going to need an adjustment period at the NHL level. It’s twice the number of games against tougher competition.

I’d also doubt Holloway gets in the 90 point range. That’d be two huge jumps in production in a row for him. He’s not catching anybody by surprise this year. The talent is there. The motor is there. But again… let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Fowler… Man he played some of his best hockey ever down the stretch. Expecting him to do even more is a big ask. That’s not a knock on him, by the way. What a pickup he turned out to be.

I DO think Dvorsky has a real shot out of camp and could see Carbonneau getting a 9-game trial.

Buch and Faulk have better seasons than last year. No reason, just my gut.

Schenn and CP don't perform as well. Think for CP that offensive production was probably the peak but he'll still be strong defensively. Schenn is going to slide just father time and playstyle catching up.

Praying Dvorksy makes it out of camp. Would bode well for the team's future if he starts getting NHL experience even if it's at 3RW.

I'll second that, all possible if he stays healthy.

If Dean makes the team out of camp we might as well throw in the towel on the season. Jesus…

I think Holloway will hit 90pts No, don't think he'll hit that. Just hope he's healthy.

I also think Jimmy puts up 50-60 ptsI just hope his 200' game is strong enough to stay in the top-6.

Buchnevich rebounds, rookies by default. If (big if) Joseph makes the team and holds off Dvorsky and others he could benefit from the upgrade at 3C.

Which player will make team out of camp

Snuggerud, Mailloux.

I think Dvorsky will make the team and i think that Carboneau will get a taste I think they might look at the vets first, sort out who fits where and who is replaceable, then they call up DD. Carbonneau doesn't have much chance.

Which defenseman will have a break out season

I think fowler willl perform better than he did last year That would be Norris-worthy. Not likely. Hold serve.

Mailloux will progress to some level or other. Tucker IMHO is what you've seen is what you get. Broberg might be marginally better, Faulk potentially could rebound strong. Mailloux is the man to watch.

You fellows think the way I do.

I do have Dean as my Dark Horse, but Carbonneau will give him a run and Kaskamaki is mean and determined.

Schenn will have a full year of the whiz kid wingers and he should flourish.
Broberg, this season, will make Oiler fans weep and gnash their teeth outside the city walls.
Buch will have an eager and mega-talented kid on the wing and he will dig lots of pucks out for him and RT to play with.
