A lot to give up for a 2-3 month rental. The Diamondbacks also seem to have quality players at 1B and Locklear will be a good one.

With Suarez off the trade board now, it gives the Cardinals the full day Thursday to gauge if they can work something on Nolan Arenado .
That's a better scenario then if Suarez would have been hanging out there all day long today .
