Cards Schedule: At Padres and Dodgers, then Cubs, Rockies and Yankees at home

Post by Bully4you »

They currently sit at .500.
By Mid-August this team will be 7 games below .500.
How empty will the stadium be when they return from the west coast.
Kids will be back in school soon and the allure of summer baseball gone.
Nothing to cheer about thus far.
Bring up JJ to save the remainder of the season?

I predict they go 0-6 on next road trip, they will get curb stomped in SD and LA

3-6 in 9 home games after that - Cubs, Rocks and Yankees

How does 58-67 sound to you on Aug 17

The Cardinals have been shutout NINE times in their last 30 games. The team got swept in Pittsburgh - shutout in all three games. Now they have traded their closer and LH set up man, with more subtractions possibly coming today. It is hard to imagine them doing much on this west coast trip vs LA and SD, but yaneverknow.

A wee more pessimistic than I.
I have them winning 1 each against Padres and Dodgers.
Looks about right after that.
Either way, it's toward the cellar we go.

Sounds very Mo and Oli. Should be playing AA teams.

It's a 90 loss team, I expect they will catch the Pirates for last place in NL Central
