Points of emphasis. Like to see from Melville on these two observations.

Do you like any player who is actually any good? You must be an underdog story yourself…or a starving for attention goof.

It does look like MLB pitchers might be catching up to him. He doesn’t seem to be as effective as he was earlier this season. Just a casual observation, didn’t go dig through a bunch of stats or anything, so maybe I’m wrong…

This team doesn’t have any hitter that should be hitting in the middle of the order for a playoff contender. Not Burleson or Herrera - none of them.

Herrera has a terrible stance. I wonder how well he'd hit if he just squared up with both feet planted on the ground.

Too many people on here are mean. That's not being mean. It’s a completely fair observation.

Burleson is having a great OBP month: .378. He has 14 walks for the month and is definitely a tick up from last year. Good for him.

By comparison, Herrera's OBP for the season is .388. So Herrera's OBP is better than AB's best month.

Here's why this OP was created:
    AB's OPS last 7 days: .859
    Herrera's: .759

Shady really only knows the last thing he's seen.

The only difference in these two players is one is lh one is rh. And Herrera is a couple ticks better. I like them both if there's other guys around to drive them in. Neither are mob at this point in their career.

Herrera has a higher OPS now than AB will ever have.
