And Donovan with bases loaded!
and Walker in the 9th
fire hydrants all
You mean that strike 3 call that was right down the middle .. center right to left and center cut up and down too !
He was told not to 'chase' .. Brown didn't mean Don't chase the pitches right down the gut !
I agree it drives me nuts also!
It’s not just the Cards....baseball has changed.
With two strikes it used to be “protect the plate”.
Now.....it’s about “guessing” at the pitch!
So....if you guess wrong you stand there like a dummy looking at a pitch right down the middle.
The funny part?
Most hitters WANT to get a fastball to hit.
But they are guessing curveball so when they DO get the fastball(the pitch they wanted!) they stand there like fools.
LOL....SMH.

Walker just seems a bit disinterested right now....waving at a couple of flyballs last night as he kind of cruised in their direction, and taking fastball strikes. I don't know, but for a "can't miss stud", I'm truly disappointed!
Walker takes strike three down the middle a lot. Just unbelievable.
That is not physical.
It's mental.
Seems like it should be fixable.
But with Walker, I'm not sure it is.
