She is not. Or at least wasn’t at all before she let me. Tolerates it decently well enough but has her limits lol.

Mine grew up in Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit and her parents and brother and extended family were sports fans so she was conditioned to accept "The Team That Is Rooted For." She had a mix of Colts, Cubs, Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, Pacers but no hockey affinity. I was also lucky when me met in that I was the pursued so I was wooed with tix with her to Game 3 of the 2016 WCF, which I'll be honest, was not the easiest game to absorb in Blues jerseys in the Shark arena. She has taken me to games in Vegas (1st ever meeting game, in which we outshot them 153-2 but were basically stripped of the game due to prevailing civic grief), LA and Anaheim too. I think of her as significant to the world because of her policy work and I enjoy that such a person also knows exactly who Patrik Berglund and Jakub Stancl are.

My wife has a hockey ranking, by which I have to play my cards very carefully (i.e. hog one of the two big TVS for an entire evening). She gets more annoyed the lower I go down the list:

- blues playoff game
- blues regular season game
- non-blues playoff game
- non-blues regular season game
- non-blues regular season game with teams she doesn’t even recognize at all
