There is no Youth in this entire organization who wouldn’t benefit from some ML experience,……are they too scared to do this??
This was the year TO DO this
Instead we get to watch a 36yr old throw BP???

Sunk cost fallacy from a poverty organization
Exactly. This organization has no clue about sunk costs. They blew the money on Mikolas, and it's never going to be unblown. Ditch him.
I'm redoing my bathrooms, and I ordered 2 corner stone shower caddies that looked like horrific monstrosities when I got them. My contractor told me they couldn't be returned, so was I sure I didn't want them now? I told him I viewed them as sunk costs and didn't want those ugly things in my bathrooms, and would spend a fraction of that for caddies that do the job better and look a whole lot better.
Miles Mikolas is synonymous with a monstrous shower caddy in my book.

Someone has to pitch to get them through 2 months..
Bringing up a young guy before they are ready can result in bad performances and a loss of confidence
And there is an issue of innings….too many for a young guy…
and the cynic in me demands that I suggest that starting the service time clock may be an issue…
The season is shot……just let mm carry the load until the end…
I need to know the rationale for not starting Herrera behind the plate like 4 out of every 5 days. I realize his D was bad but let's not pretend it was costing us games. This is the perfect time to let him work through it.
Instead this will be the season where we had to move our starting C to 1B to save him and then move our next starting C to DH to save him. Which results in starts for Pages, who has no part in our future.

Maybe your post title should be “I don’t agree with the BDW philosophy that ‘the contract plays’”. He’s always been that way.
When you travel to the orient to scout talent, how about bringing back Asian talent instead of a washed up, skinny calved, porn star mustache sporting, cement mixer curve ball throwing white dude?

Maybe you can get him to stand in your shower and hold your supplies?
Correct answer. Somebody has to pitch. Not to defend Marmol, but he doesn’t have a lot of options.
Find some AAA journeyman, then. Maybe we get lucky and get Jason Simontacci'd for a couple of months. He gets a few months MLB pay, and I never have to see Miles Mikolas ever again. Everyone's a winner.
Worst case scenario, he sucks, and I still don't have to see Miles Mikolas ever again.

Rationale ? The way Miles is pitching why not give him a 5th for each start. He certainly would be more relaxed !
No, he should only start on the 5th of every month left, so 2 starts left unless those are open dates.
