Wild is an understatement. He walked or hit 24 of his 75 hitters which is one short of a third of them!

On the other hand, he struck out 30 hitters in 14 innings. He averaged 2 more than 2 strikeouts per inning.

So 54 of his 75 hitters either struck out or got a free pass to 1B. Crazy!

I'd recommend a life insurance policy to hitters before they go to the plate to face him.

Where did Mo find this gem? These numbers are worse than "low-hanging fruit" level. This is some laying in the alley behind the liquor store bull[shirt].

I’ll spare you the click as it might burn your eyes. He was a Braves minor leaguer. His career numbers:

3 IP
2 H
21 R
20 ER
28 BB
6 K
4 HBP
35 WP
10.00 WHIP
60.00 ERA

On a positive note- with that much traffic on the bases, how has he kept his ERA down to 5.14?

He's a thrower, not a pitcher.

As a thrower, he's pretty good.

As a pitcher, one of the worst to ever step on a mound. I hope he never sees a major league field because throwers like this guy are ruining the sport.

Bruno Lopez is a 6'4", 220 pound, right-handed relief pitcher on the Cards FCL team. He was signed in 2020 out of the Dominican Republic. He is 23 years old, and will probably never make it to MLB. He is however living out the dream of many young Dominicans, and that is to play professional baseball. He has a 40% strike-out rate, and yes he is as wild as Ricky Vaughn. He wears glasses that look like Vaughn's glasses and has a big smile. I wish the kid all the best!
