So, I guess, Saggese gets a new number
Classy. Maybe Carlson's former number 3. Just don't mess with Burleson's # 41. lol

Scratch out the name with a sharpie and write in the next obsession. My guess is Roby is now blacked out and Doyle is written in whatever space was left over.

Guru, you are really funny. You are also losing some of your CT stronghold because of your attitude towards me. More and more posters are seeing what's going on. Stick to reporting and ignore me like you advised your gang. Just sayin'.craviduce wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025 20:19 pmHerbert and Chris from Family GuyCorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025 19:03 pmScratch out the name with a sharpie and write in the next obsession. Re: So, I guess, Saggese gets a new number
Saggese most likely received some compensation from Doyle for allowing Liam the No. 25 jersey number.
That has been a practice in pro sports.
Here are a few examples:
Rickey Henderson reportedly paid Turner Ward $25,000 for the rights to jersey number 24 when he was traded to the Blue Jays in 1993.
Roger Clemens paid Carlos Delgado $15,000 and gave him a Rolex for the number 21 when he joined the Toronto Blue Jays in 1997.
Adrian Beltre received jersey number 29 as part of his contract with the Texas Rangers but still gave teammate Julio Borbon a Rolex for relinquishing it readily.
Eli Manning offered Jeff Feagles a trip to Florida for his family in exchange for jersey number 10.
It's important to remember that these types of arrangements are typically unofficial and negotiated between the players themselves, rather than being a formal process governed by league rules or contracts.

Yes, we at CT are very disappointed in Craviduce due to his lack of reverence lol!Shady wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025 20:48 pmGuru, you are really funny. Looks like Doyle gets #25.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025 21:03 pmWhat did I miss here with Saggese's #? Can you fill me in?
Re: So, I guess, Saggese gets a new number
I don't get it either.
he didn't wear 25 at Tenn
he wore 12
Re: So, I guess, Saggese gets a new number
isn't the #25 number for "2025"? Every drafted player will have their photo taken with a jersey and their name on the back and the number will say "25".
Just a thought
like last year with the "24", the year before with the "23", etc, etc

Cards “high brass” must not think too highly of Sagesse. Next thing you know they’ll take Lucan Baker’s number and give it to next year’s draft pick

maybe Saggese will start hitting the ball with a new number.
