I agree. It IS kind of a head scratcher. I only turned on the radio to check the score and caught the last of that particular half inning. The commentators were talking like, "Oh, nice job, we're right back in it. And, that's not the last scoring we'll have in this game!" I didn't want to jinx them so I didn't check back in. Turns out, it WAS the last scoring there was. That's why I posted an O.P. inre the Redbirds offense seems to disappear. Which it DOES, BTW. Good catch by Scotch Irish. Cardinals cannot manufacture runs to save their own lives, and situational hitting is atrocious. But then again, we're over 25. Back in the good old days it was just part of the game. Teams, individual players, managers and coaches played to win.
