Kelly and Datt
Terrible move Kelly is an icon. Will Datt be off the Cardinals broadcast also? Not a good move on both.
Re: Kelly and Datt
Just read about Kelly, but what happens with the cute one?
Will there be a between period show, a pre and post game anymore??

Re: Kelly and Datt
Datt was good on MLB network.
Re: Kelly and Datt

Re: Kelly and Datt
According to Zimmerman it is both. Seems the blues also made the decision.

Zimmerman on whether Kelly's departure was a
@StLouisBlues
decision or a
@FanDuelSN_MW
decision: "Well, it is a joint decision. Our broadcasters have always been employees of the regional network. The decision is a joint decision." #stlblues

Kelly and Panger were an excellent team. We had it good for a long time.
Alexa will likely move on for a bigger city or national gig.

Stillman could’ve stopped this. I guess he saw the savings.

I am glad we do not have to listen to Rivers during the game only between periods, Rivers at least he knows hockey, but man that dude can become a whinny baby and cry too much about the refs all the time.

A very disappointing un Blues like move.rightthinker4 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2025 14:14 pm Stillman could’ve stopped this. I guess he saw the savings.
Make the move if you must Tom but pay the extra to keep the right guy who's done nothing but right by you.
Re: Kelly and Datt
The Blues are run as a business, not some rich guys toy. That is both good and bad as the ownership group has really put an emphasis on making the business not become a crater. I think its a bigger deal than what people are envisioning. JK's contract was up, Kerber and Vitale are still under contract. If they're simulcasting, it gets rid of one half of the broadcast entirely. That's a LOT of coin. They see the cap elevating and they look to be getting ahead of it. Let's be real, JK was loved, but so was Panger. He left and fans still watched.
Re: Kelly and Datt
Different situation with Panger. He was a Blackhawk, so the idea that perhaps he was going home made it more palatable. The Kelly family is Blues hockey royalty.TAFKAP wrote: ↑11 Jul 2025 14:35 pm The Blues are run as a business, not some rich guys toy. Also, more direct flights out of O'Hare and easier travel for his network gig.esp31 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2025 19:55 pmDifferent situation with Panger.
