I would be ecstatic. I don't know if you were here but when Kane a Toews were in Chicago he would always poke his head talk sheet and basically be as arrogant as can be. Especially in the playoff series where they knocked out backes. He was insufferable to say the least, so i would baskin the glory if that happened

It's year four of a complete teardown rebuild and almost all of the picks since then will be on the team next season. Not sure what you expected...what team has pulled off a complete teardown quicker than 5 or 6 years?

While this was a poorly used article to start this. Chicago fans should start to be a bit worried. Chicago feels 5 years away from exiting the rebuild, and not a sure thing 5 years. Bright side is if it is 5 years Bedard should be 25 and have 3 years left on an 8 year deal then.

My point is about how many teams have never pulled it off after 6-8-10 years and can that be on the minds of important players who spend precious years doing it.

He/others claim to understand...but in time they might start understanding other ways and options just as well.

I am from Chicago and most of the family is still there. There are people worried or these articles wouldn't exist.

I am not saying Bedard is leaving. I am saying I know lifelong Hawks fans who are concerned. And hot the bandwagon "we won a cup" crowd. The rebuild isn't looking like a full plan. At least not yet.

1000% now all we here is how great every move they make is and how amazing these prospects are. Maybe I just don't know how a 'rebuild' works but I think at some point you're supposed to, you know, improve. Especially after drafting jesus himself!! They've been 10th or worse in the West every year since 2017. 14th or 15th every year since 2021.
