So there has been rumors NJ would like to move on. What I would like to know how is his Defensive game. I see he is 6'6" 230 with some decent offensive numbers. Would he be an upgrade over Faulk?
I think my main concern with the whole Byram idea is he is considered just average on D. Sure his offensive upside is high but we need more of a shut down type. I think the offensive side will be fine with Broberg, Cam Fowler, CP55, and even Logan Mailloux has high offensive upside.

Re: Dougie Hamilton
I've heard he's a (bleep), but outside of rumors what really worries me is that he's a 6'6 RHD who played for 4 different teams in his 20s. Boston took him 9th OA and then traded him when he was 21. He's only played 82 games once in the last 6 seasons. Three more seasons $9M. Guy should be NJ's #1D, so why are they looking to move him?
