The only thing
Re: Nootbar and Gorman
When Gorman shows plate discipline and hits the ball the other way you’ve really got something.
Noot....he needs to be dealt!

Re: Nootbar and Gorman
Based on CT input, its truly hard to believe that MLB can't seem to produce a. 400 hitter, or at least a .350.
MLB average BA is .240. Both Noot and Gorman aren't much different than a majority of major leaguers.

The trouble is, Gorman was supposed to be much much better than average as a top prospect. And he's not.RamFan08NY wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 16:52 pm Based on CT input, its truly hard to believe that MLB can't seem to produce a. 400 hitter, or at least a .350.

He has 210 PA's this year - which is about 1/3 of a season.icon wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 16:57 pmThe trouble is, Gorman was supposed to be much much better than average as a top prospect. He is on pace for a full season rate of 24 HR, 81 RBI, 81 runs scored, and 51 XBH's.
He is a LH hitting 2b who can also play 3b.
That is MUCH better than "average".
Every team in MLB would be thrilled with that.
Re: Nootbar and Gorman
Projections are NOT reality. They are basically a "what if".
He is NOT going to bring 24 HR and 81 RBi's this year or next or when ever.
It is like waiting for Santa Claus to come down the chimney, even if I do not have a chimney, to prove he exist.

On pace is a laugh. Come on, get out of here with that stuff. It ain't going to happen. He's not getting 630 PAs.Melville wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 17:18 pmHe has 210 PA's this year - which is about 1/3 of a season.icon wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 16:57 pmThe trouble is, Gorman was supposed to be much much better than average as a top prospect. Agreed. I like it when hes in the lineup. Unfortunately, unless moves are made, finding enough PT will be difficult.Melville wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 17:18 pmHe has 210 PA's this year - which is about 1/3 of a season.icon wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 16:57 pmThe trouble is, Gorman was supposed to be much much better than average as a top prospect. Re: Nootbar and Gorman
You're right. Projections are pretty much just that. Guesstimates. With that said, i think if he played 145 games he'd be a 25 hr guy.

He won't get 630 PA's this year - but that that his doing.
Data says STL should have kept their original commitment to get him 600+ PA's.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nootbaar and Walker traded.
