MLB gameday shows LH Drew Pomeranz as the cubs starter for today's game. He will probably only pitch 1 inning, as that has been his limit in 25 of his 26 appearances this season. He has given up ZERO earned runs in his 23.1 IP this year, all this after not even pitching in MLB in 2022-24.

Once he is out of the game, I expect Counsell will bring in LH Wicks, who they just called up. Cards are apparently going to start 5 LH batters: Donovan, Burleson, Nootbaar, Gorman, and Scott.
