No politics in the forums

Post by Beth O'Malley »

The rule is simple, ladies and gentlemen: No politics in the forums.

Further, please do not reply to a political post. Simply report it to moderators.

Bans have been, and will continue to be given to users who break the rule. Those bans will increase in length with each subsequent post, until the ban becomes permanent. While banned, do not create an alt account to post.

Stick to sports.

Thank you.

Does All-star voting fall under “Politics”? Y’all tend to define “Politics” VERY liberally
Also, is it your intention to alienate current and potential customers of your for Profit product? Very odd marketing strategy for an entity that is struggling to stay in business.

NO ONE is ever forced to open a thread…..the insane begging outcry by some for Enforcement to stop THEM from clicking a link is truly one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen. The disputes whether in Sports post or Other usually Peeter out and life goes on. And a remarkable thing happens when I don’t click on a post…..I have NO IDEA what is typed there

It’s not middle school adults should be secure enough to read things they don’t agree with.

I agree with following the rules, I disagree that the rule is necessary. And what is considered political is almost anything currently in the news.

So you really don't agree with following rules. Only the ones you agree with. That is pretty common this day and age.
On a privately owned site that choice is not yours. You have two choices, follow their rules or don't post.

There is no need for those type of posts on a sports forum. They get very nasty and personal and the people who make them are typically just trying to get a rise out of people. And they are constantly are inserted in threads so they are hard to avoid.

I didn’t say that they don’t have the right to set the rules. You failed to reply to any of my points. I’ll assume you support censorship.
