Ten days ago I was saying if he keeps it up the rest of the month they should promote him July 1st... what are the chances the team keeps to that schedule?

Needs to be in AAA no later than the ASB.

If he tears it up at Memphis July/August, then give him the M. Winn late season call-up so he can get his feet wet learning big league life.

Then he comes into STing 2026 with a realistic shot at making the team.

He's a college player, doesn't need to be babied if he's ready.

The Dude is dominating, for sure. I'd like to see what he can do at AAA as well. Wouldn't surprise me to see him promoted soon.

He needs to be promoted soon. Then he has the rest of the season to adjust to AAA. He will get another ST invite and we shall see. He has little to learn in AA at this point though.

I think he’ll be there by next week (July 1st).

I also wonder how long before Bernal is there, but that may line up more if/when Crooks is either promoted or traded.

I would think the latest he'd get promoted would be coming out of All Star weekend and the Futures game. My guess is he'll be representing the Cardinals... so maybe he heads straight to Memphis after that rather than before? Would be closer to July 15th.

But yeah, he's 100% ready for the next level.

we're probably close enough to the ASB/Draft, and the annual Roster Cuts and accordion promotions to make room for the new additions. ASB promotion sounds about right. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if we all wake up in 3 or 4 hours to a "JJ promoted to Memphis" tweet or 2
