We've all seen (or done) it at the ballpark or arena: Gone around after the game collecting drink cups, left-behind promotional freebies, etc.. Note: Those familiar mini-helmet ice cream containers were also sold with sundaes by St. Louis's Velvet Freeze chain in the mid-70s. I was working at the County Government Center in Clayton, and frequently stopping at a VF between there and my moonlighting job at Ruiz's Mexican Cuisine in Florissant.....noshing on ice cream in a helmet, collecting each MLB team, while negotiating traffic on N. Hanley Road.

I have never once gone around collecting cups after a game. So pardon my snark but we all haven't done it.

I was at Sphere this year to see Dead & Co. They sold beers and sodas in plastic cups adorned with Dead logos. One of the shows I had a few beers. Show ended and I had the cups stacked in my cupholder. Some dude offered me money for my cups. WTF. You want my used plastic Sphere dishes, have at em buddy, no charge. I've never seen someone so happy to get used cups. To each his own..........
