Re: Play Gorman
I agree.
Although in defense of Burleson he deserves to play also!
All you could do is:
Catch Herrera
Or
Move Noot CF and play Donovan and Burly in the OF.
Best offense but awful on defense!

Re: Play Gorman
Don't look now, but Gorman has his average up to .229. I think league average is .246, or so. He has been a consistent hitter for 2-3 weeks now. Keep up the good work.
Re: Play Gorman

Re: Play Gorman
We’ve played several players without break. Definitely need to rotate days off and mix in burly/gorman etc

By far the highest upside LH damage bat on the roster.Kentucky kid wrote: ↑10 Jun 2025 21:43 pm It makes sense to play him but we are talking about the cardinals!!
So of course he has the fewest PA's from the LH options.

Re: Play Gorman
Gorman is on an upward trajectory. So was Walker before he was injured. Both of those guys have to be given some semblance of consistent playing time the rest of the year in order to make a fair evaluation of their role going forward in 2026 and beyond. We have to move the expiring contracts. We aren't going to win this division and chasing a wildcard is foolish if we ever want to return to being contenders. Do what's right for 2026.
Re: Play Gorman
He needs to spell Nado at third 1-2 a week and then get a few starts at 2B and DH. He needs the full runway and at bats this year.
