if you look at who Stan Bowman has acquired, not including (Skinner, Arvidsson, Janmark, Perry) who were signed or resigned by Jeff Johnson.

I felt like last nights game was the perfect showcase of the faux grit Bowman has tried to inject into this group. The water bottle squirting, stick breaking cross checks, leg slashes getting a point and a laugh as the response. Bowman tried to fill holes with waiver wire pick ups, bought out players, players that think being gritty is a cele. and it looked bad last night. I know it’s only one game but the Oilers showed us who they are when they tried to get tough.
