What are the odds you trail by 10-4 in 9th with one out and win the game ?
Oh about 0.1% of the time .. After trailing by 6 or more runs after 8 full innings , the D'Backs were 0-419 . Yes, game 420 was the golden ticket !

That's why in baseball , you never give up til the 27th out is made. In this case, the D'Backs made their comeback starting with 25 outs .

Interesting thought that several posters on CT can be trailing by 2 or 3 runs in the 3rd inning and accept defeat .

It’s even more fun when the guy that gives up 5 runs in the 9th is named Scott Blewett

Close to the same as when you're leading by 2 goals late in a game 7 only to get tied w/two seconds left and lose in OT.

Remember that time the Cardinals scored 10 runs in the top of the first of an elimination game at that park?
That was cool.

Had to stop and view super-slow mo to make sure tying and go-ahead runs touched 3rd base.
