Great article - thanks for sharing.
Mozeliak likes to take full credit for the team's success (some of which was actually due to Jocketty's work), but I've yet to hear or read of him accepting any responsibility for the team's fall over the past 14 years, which was certainly under his watch.

And isn’t that the most frustrating thing about the Cards. Mo is still there and not run out of town. Of course ownership shares some blame also. Not some but a lot.mudpuppy37 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 08:42 am Great article - thanks for sharing.

Great article. Very exciting. But it really shows again how far behind we are.

Although this quote is not specifically directed at the Cardinals, I think it certainly applies when it comes to both ownership and Mozeliak:mudpuppy37 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 08:42 am Great article - thanks for sharing.

Exactly. He would be more inclined to challenge you with “what do you mean by team’s fall?” He measures team success by attendance.mudpuppy37 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 08:42 am Great article - thanks for sharing.

When the Cardinals first hired Cerfolio from Cleveland, I read a number of very positive reports on him ... how he was the guy who brought Guardians into prominence . Excited about him being in charge of the Cardinals development .
Hoping once we get to the offseason there will be some sit down interviews with him .
His plans for the franchise .

Same here. I really hope Bloom and his team have control (as opposed to just a voice) over next month’s draft. I understand Mozeliak is still officially in charge but Bloom and team will have to live with the results next year and beyond.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑31 May 2025 14:17 pm Thanks for sharing.
