Cal Raleigh on pace for 59 HR's

Post by JohnTudor1985 »

He has hit 30 plus the last two years as the Mariners catcher. Doesn't get much attention (outside fantasy leagues). On pace for a WAR of 8.0. (Only 3 catchers in history have done that). Cal is 5 for 6 in stolen bases, and has played every game this year. And, he won a Gold Glove last year.

BTW, Seattle is the hardest park to homer in.

Just hit his second HR of the game, 21 on the year 5 RBI. I believe this leads all of baseball. Having a monster season.

Signed a six year $105m contract in March. Smart move by the Mariners. Historic season so far.
