truth in lyrics

Post by 12xu »

Workin' in the fields
'Til you get your back burned
Workin' 'neath the wheels
'Til you get your facts learned
Baby I got my facts
Learned real good right now
You better get it straight girl
Poor man want to be rich
Rich man want to be king
And a king ain't satisfied
'Til he rules everything

Bruce Springsteen 1978

Springsteen sang Dancing in the Dark at a Kamala rally so out of tune it sounded like a drunk dude doing an impression of the "boss."

Not a big fan, but I understand his impact in music and songwriting.

A lot of his songs sound like he's singing while taking a duece instead of revved up like a duece.

Every yuletide season I get treated to his 'classic' - Santa Claus is comin' to town. Which would be in the former of your two categories.

Let's face it - he's no Kid Rock.
